Product Description
The Pioneer DJM-A9 builds on the foundation of the DJM-900NXS2, refining its sound and usability for modern DJs. The vibe? Enhanced 32-bit converters makes the main output cleaner than ever, and Pioneer applied the same tech to the booth monitors, so what you hear is tight and precise. The faders are smoother, the FX section is bigger, and the sound colour FX have been fine-tuned for more control. It also comes with dual headphone outputs, making back-to-back sets easier than ever—no more awkwardly using your mate’s questionable headphones.
Pioneer has also added a Sound Color FX Lock, so if you tend to get a bit too excited mid-set, you won’t accidentally send that flanger into oblivion. Dual USB-C soundcards allow seamless DJ transitions, and while the mixer comes with Bluetooth (b2b iPhone set, anyone?), phantom power, and even a Stagehand app for front-of-house control (lol), let’s be honest—you’ll probably never use them. But hey, they’re there if you feel the need.
Included:
- 1x Pioneer DJM-A9 Mixer
- 1x IEC Power Cable
"Jungle Audio provided exactly what I needed for a very affordable price. Alec was extremely good at communicating the workings of all gear and was flexible with when I could pick up and drop off said equipment.
The sound of the speakers was top notch as was the environment the lighting created. Will definitely be going through Jungle Audio in the future for all my sound and lighting needs. Thanks Alec!"

How does the DJM-A9 compare to the DJM-900NXS2?
The DJM-A9 takes everything from the 900NXS2 and improves it—cleaner sound, smoother faders, better FX, and dual headphone outputs for back-to-back sets. Plus, the main speakers and booth monitors sound way tighter thanks to upgraded converters.

Can I use this mixer with my laptop?
Yep, the dual USB-C soundcards make it super easy to connect laptops for Serato DJ, Rekordbox, or Traktor. No dodgy adapters, just plug and play.

What’s the deal with the Sound Color FX Lock?
Basically, it stops you from accidentally going full sends on the flanger or filter when you’re mid-set. Great if you tend to get a little too enthusiastic on the dials.

Does this come in a roadcase?
Absolutely. We aren’t rawdogging this beast.
