About Truss
Truss Hire Melbourne
Whether you’re hosting a concert, setting up a DJ booth, or creating a sick light display, our truss options are reliable, customisable and truss-worthy. Get it? Truss-worthy? We have fun.
Turn an empty venue into a happier place than Disneyland. We’ve got straightforward truss totems and arches through to cubes and larger custom structures; we can build a setup to suit your event, venue and gear.
You’re going to need our truss options if you’re planning on hanging banners, creating an exhibition stand, etc, etc. Basically, they come in super handy for all sorts of stuff.
We stock a range of truss sections from 0.5m through to 3m, along with corner blocks, base plates, top plates and all the pins and clips you need to put everything together. We’re not limited to a handful of standard configurations — we can join sections together to create the size and shape your event actually needs.

What types of truss do you have available?
We stock modular CT290 box truss in a range of lengths, from 0.25m through to 3m. We also have truss totems, arches, cubes, corner blocks, base plates and top plates, so we can put together everything from a simple lighting stand to a much larger custom structure.
-
Can I build the truss myself?
Yep. Smaller setups are straightforward to assemble if you’ve got a few people and the right tools. We can supply the required pins, clips and connecting hardware, and we’re happy to run you through the basics when you collect it.
-
Can you deliver and set up the truss?
Absolutely. If you’d rather leave the heavy lifting to us super strong and handsome peeps, we can deliver, assemble and pack down your truss setup. We actually recommend this for larger arches, cubes and custom structures where transport and installation can become a bit of a mission.
-
How do I know what truss and base plates I need?
That’s what we’re here for. Send us the dimensions or napkin sketch of the structure you’re trying to build, what you want to hang from it, where it’s going and whether it’s indoors or outdoors. We’ll recommend the appropriate truss sections, base plates and additional ballast where required.
-
Can truss be used outdoors?
Yes, but outdoor truss needs a little more consideration than an indoor setup. Wind, ground conditions, the size of the structure and whatever you’re hanging from it all matter. We can recommend appropriate base plates and ballast for your setup rather than hoping for the best and blaming the weather afterwards.
