Jungle Audio makes hiring easy with a quick three-step process. Browse our wicked inventory of speakers, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, DJ equipment, and more. Read the detailed descriptions and pick what you need.
Hit us up via email or phone if you’re unsure of anything. Provide the equipment details, event dates, and any specific requirements. We’ll review your request, confirm availability, and source anything missing to make sure you have the sickest event.
You (obviously) have two options: pickup or delivery. Save some dollarydoos by collecting it yourself, or let us handle delivery, setup, and pack-down. We’ll need some dollars from you—because we don’t do this for the giggles—after the booking is confirmed.

The Allen & Heath DX168 lets you drop all your inputs and outputs right at the stage and run a single Ethernet cable back to front of house. Got a little OCD when it comes to your cables? This will make you feel nice inside.
- 16 mic/line inputs and 8 XLR outputs
- Up to 100m distance from your SQ5 using a Cat5e cable
- Supplied in a roadcase and ready for life on the road

Product Description
The DX168 is the perfect sidekick for our Allen & Heath SQ5+ and makes stage cabling infinitely less painful. Instead of dragging around a giant multicore and trying to hide it somewhere, drop one of these at the stage, plug all your microphones, DI boxes and foldbacks into it, then run a Cat5e cable back to your mixing desk. Easy like that sweet par-cheesey.
With 16 inputs and 8 outputs onboard, there’s plenty of connectivity and if you need more channels, you can daisy-chain a second DX168 using another Cat5e cable. The DX168 is essentially plug-and-play with the SQ series, so once you’ve connected your cable, the mixer sorts the rest out.

Can you use two of these at the stage?
Absolutely. In fact, we’d recommend it for bigger stages. Pop one on stage left, one on stage right, run a Cat5e cable between them, and you’ve got a really tidy setup with inputs exactly where you need them.

Does this come in a roadcase?
Yep! It comes packed in a roadcase, making transport easy and keeping everything protected between gigs.

How far away can this be from the mixer?
Quite a long way. You can comfortably run a Cat5e cable up to 100 metres, so putting your SQ5+ at front of house while keeping the stage box by the band is no issue at all.

Will this work with mixers other than the SQ5+?
It sure will. The DX168 also plays nicely with other compatible Allen & Heath systems, but if you’re hiring from us, it’s most commonly paired with our SQ5+ package.
