Hiring process
Jungle Audio makes hiring easy with a quick three-step process. Browse our wicked inventory of speakers, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, DJ equipment, and more. Read the detailed descriptions and pick what you need.
Hit us up via email or phone if you’re unsure of anything. Provide the equipment details, event dates, and any specific requirements. We’ll review your request, confirm availability, and source anything missing to make sure you have the sickest event.
You (obviously) have two options: pickup or delivery. Save some dollarydoos by collecting it yourself, or let us handle delivery, setup, and pack-down. We’ll need some dollars from you—because we don’t do this for the giggles—after the booking is confirmed.

Wash walls, strobe crowds, light up stages and create a VIBE. One of our favourite ways to use these is mounted on truss behind the DJ, where they create eye-catching pixel effects that frame the booth and make the whole setup feel more immersive. Everyone wants a vibe. If you don’t have a vibe, what have you got? Jackfruit. That’s what.

Product Description
These little beauties are for those who like to get creative! A one-metre-long pixel bar that can go behind a DJ booth, mount horizontally or vertically on truss, run across the front of a stage, or create geometric patterns if you’re some sort of lighting visionary.
Each light hires for $50, although we’d usually recommended grabbing a roadcase for $200. Each roadcase comes packed with four bars and two base plates, allowing you to stack two fixtures on top of each other without needing any truss at all. In just a few minutes, you’ve got a pair of sleek 2-metre lighting columns framing a DJ booth, band or dancefloor.
PowerCon TrueOne connectors keep everything securely connected and weather-resistant, while both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX options give lighting operators plenty of flexibility. If you don’t feel like programming anything, these have heaps of built-in automatic shows that look great straight out of the box, and you can simply set one fixture as the master so the others automatically sync up and run the same effects together.
Included:
- 1x beamZ Pro DOTBAR Pix 1 Outdoor SMD LED Bar
- 1x TrueOne Power Cable
"Easily the smoothest speaker hire situation I have dealt with. Alec was very accommodating and the speakers were prefect for the event (and super affordable).
I'll definitely be coming back for our next event!"

Can we pick these up ourselves?
Possibly! If you’re just hiring a few bars, they’ll easy fit in any car. If you’re grabbing the full roadcase of four, you’ll probably want a van, ute or trailer, as the case is fairly bulky. If transport is going to be a pain, we can always organise delivery and collection

Can Jungle Audio set everything up for us?
Absolutely. We’re more than happy to install and pack down the system.
-
Can we leave these on automatic mode and forget about them?
Yep! That’s one of the best parts. Select one of the built-in programs, hit go, and they’ll happily run all night creating colour chases, strobes and washes without touching another button. Claim that you stayed up all night to program it and watch people be surprised at how well-slept you look.

How many bars should I use?
Four bars are a nice starting point, especially if you’re stacking them into two columns. If you’re chasing a more polished festival look, we’d suggest eight or more. Once you get into 12 or 16 bars, they become a proper feature of the event rather than just extra lighting.
